“What is a ten ?! A ten is just a mathematical number in relation to a case study, it is not equivalent to a masterpiece, it is just an album made better than others, nothing more, nothing less, if we are in the presence of a masterpiece (a small and intimate masterpiece would suffice ) it is only up to you to decide and no one else, on our part it is an album that deserves and we recommend you, but there is something more, that more that makes the difference, it is a going beyond (painful but necessary) to the substance of the plastic and human living.”

“Considering it is a debut LP, it’s impressive and shows space that will be filled with more nuanced ideas as they progress through their songwriting over the coming years. They could very easily become a big element in the melo death scene, the base is there and it’s addictive as is.”

Metal Reports

Gut gemacht!”

“NEPHYLIM is amazing. As simple as I can put it. I absolutely loved this album and wish all albums were so easy to listen to when reviewing. I definitely recommend checking “Severance of Serenity” out. There is a little something for all of us here. From the softest, melodic ones amongst us; to the hardened, black metal ones amongst us.”

“What NEPHYLIM produced here as in-house production is really impressive and will almost certainly appeal to all those who feel at home in Nordic melodic death. A pearl in the rising tide of up-and-coming melodic death, which does not always manage to implement qualitatively what it has intended. You should keep a close eye on this band.”
