Nephylim is a Dutch Melodic Death Metal formation formed in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Striving with a fiery passion for Melodic Death Metal, excelling in a storm of melancholy and ground-trembling heaviness. Captivating melodies and progressive passages forge the wintered (Gothenburg-esque) sound and dynamics, which Nephylim knows how to use with determination.

Circulating within the emerging concept of life and overlapping abstractness of nature; they portray their live performance in a daunting and magnifying way, providing an unique and unified experience for the audience.

Friends guitarist/vocalist Kevin van Geffen and current bass player (back then guitarist) Rens van de Ven founded Nephylim in 2015. From early on, the musical focus was on the Scandinavian style of metal.

“Circuition” is the long awaited successor of our debut full-length “Severance of Serenity”, our first physical release featuring Tijn Bosters on (lead) vocals.
Similar to our debut album, ‘Circuition‘ is a concept-based album in which we draw inspiration of the concepts ‘The Cycle of Life’ and the ‘Wheel of Fate’.
Throughout life’s endeavors we all encounter a wide range of experiences – both uplifting and challenging, which tutors us to grow and adapt. Leading to a deeper understanding of ourselves.
Each song on ‘Circuition’ elaborates a certain state of mind or well-being, which refers to different occurrences in life: past, present and future.

By pushing boundaries on the overall production and quality, music and lyrical compositions, “Circuition” has become a product which is believed to fit in with the global elite.
With the help of a crowdfunding campaign, the public has financially supported to the band, and made clear that they are keen and ready for “Circuition”.
